Connor Lum is a saxophonist, composer, and arranger based in Vancouver whose music draws inspiration from a diverse range of styles and traditions. His musical journey began at the age of five under the guidance of his mother, a classical pianist. He soon developed a passion for woodwind instruments and dove into the world of jazz improvisation and performance.
Connor holds a Bachelor’s degree in Jazz Performance and Composition from Capilano University. This evening, he will present a diverse program featuring original compositions alongside arrangements of familiar songs and standards.
