Earthball is a freeform, psychedelic ensemble from Vancouver Island, born when Isabel Ford, John Brennan, and Jeremy Van Wyck needed a name for a gig. With Kellen Maclaughlin and Liam Murphy, they’ve build a raw, ecstatic sound praised by The Quietus and The Wire, and toured Europe including two sets at Le Guess Who festival in the Netherlands.
EarthBall has pushed sonic boundaries. Their 2024 UK tour with Chris Corsano, including a Café OTO residency, cemented their reputation for ecstatic performances. Their latest release, Actual Earth Music – Volume 1 & 2 (March 7, 2025), captures their raw energy live.
