Vancouver vocalist Laura Crema has a purity of tone that can only be achieved by one gifted with a rare natural instrument. She is a great interpreter of songbook standards as well as Brazilian music, originals and obscure pieces from her own repertoire. She has performed and recorded with some of the finest musicians in Canadian Jazz, Country, Folk, New and Improvised Music. Laura has recorded six critically acclaimed albums under her name, the most recent, STRINGSONGS, is collection of original songs co-created with acclaimed jazz guitarist, Bill Coon. She has toured and performed across Canada and Europe and has had the great honor to play many of Canada’s most prestigious jazz venues, including The National Art Centre in Ottawa.
