Warren Wolf

One of the greatest vibraphonists in contemporary Jazz performs in Vancouver for the first time, joined by legendary drummer Carl Allen. Mack Avenue recording artist, vibraphonist, and multi-instrumentalist Warren Wolf is the premiere jazz vibraphonist on the scene today. As well as his stellar vibraphone work, Wolf is the drummer of choice for alto saxophonist Tia Fuller, as well as a member of the Bobby Watson’s Live and Learn Sextet, Christian McBride & Inside Straight, and the SFJAZZ Collective. He has performed with The Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis, Jeremy Pelt and Creation, Stefon Harris, Curtis Lundy, Ron Carter, Robert Glasper, Esperanza Spalding and many others. He recently released History of the Vibraphone, his first album for Cellar Live, and has a second arriving shortly.
For his very first Vancouver performance, he’ll will be joined by a very special one-night only band, featuring drummer Carl Allen (known for his work with Christian McBride, Benny Golson, Art Farmer, Freddie Hubbard, & Jackie McLean), and two of BC's very best Jazz musicians: John Lee on bass and Tilden Webb on piano.
